JBPH publishes original research, reviews, case studies and short communications in public health, epidemiology, biosciences, environmental health, microbiology, nutrition, food sciences and agriculture.

JBPH follows the principles and recommendations of:

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review. It must be less than 15%.

Data Availability Policy

Authors are encouraged to deposit research data in public repositories and include a Data Availability Statement.

Ethical Approval

Research involving humans or animals must include ethical approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee.

AI Policy 

JBPH follows international recommendations regarding the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scholarly publishing. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
